Nubank had restored crypto deposits and withdrawals for customers in Brazil before a TokenPost article published Nov. 8 described the services as paused, correcting the timeline in the earlier coverage.

Transfers resumed at 8 p.m. ET Nov. 6 (1 a.m. UTC Nov. 7). Nubank attributed the interruption to instability at an external data provider, said the issue was outside its infrastructure and stated that customer assets and information remained protected.

Mercado Pago blocked some transfers to external crypto wallets on Nov. 6, while both companies kept in-app buying and selling available. Mercado Pago attributed its disruption to an incident involving a provider of risk-monitoring and anti-money-laundering services.

Crypto deposits through Mercado Pago could be delayed and would be credited automatically once service was restored, the company said.
