Bitcoin Poised for New All-Time High on May 23, Says Weiss Crypto

Weiss Crypto, a prominent digital asset research firm known for its widely-followed cryptocurrency ratings, has predicted that Bitcoin (BTC) could reach a new all-time high (ATH) by May 23, 2025. Currently the only A-rated crypto in the latest Weiss Crypto Ratings, Bitcoin is trading at $103,017, just 5.9% below its January 20 ATH of $109,114.

The bullish forecast is driven by Weiss Crypto’s proprietary Crypto Timing Model, which has been shared with over 40,000 followers on X (formerly Twitter). Analysts believe such a price increase is well within reach, considering Bitcoin’s recent market momentum and growing investor optimism.

In contrast, Solana (SOL), which holds a B rating alongside Hedera (HBAR), Algorand (ALGO), Celestia (TIA), Render (RNDR), and Sonic (S), may have already peaked for this cycle. At $167.84, SOL is currently 42.9% below its January ATH above $293 and has fallen beneath a critical trend reversal line, according to Weiss Crypto.

The broader Bitcoin community remains highly optimistic. BitMEX founder Arthur Hayes projects BTC could hit $1 million by 2028, citing potential capital inflows due to declining U.S. Treasury values. Early Bitcoin advocate Adam Back suggests the seven-figure price mark might even be achievable this year.

With market sentiment increasingly bullish and Bitcoin maintaining strong technical indicators, Weiss Crypto’s forecast adds to the growing narrative that BTC could break records again—sooner rather than later. Investors and traders are closely watching the $109,114 level, with May 23 now a key date on the crypto calendar.
