Chris Burniske Calls Crypto Pullback an Early Bull-Market Opportunity
He compared a Bitcoin decline of less than 10% with drops of 20% to 40% or more across many other crypto assets.

Placeholder co-founder Chris Burniske sees the crypto pullback as an opportunity within an early bull market, pointing to deeper declines in many other assets than in Bitcoin (BTC).
In comments on Oct. 19, Burniske compared a Bitcoin pullback of less than 10% with declines of 20% to 40% or more in many other crypto assets. He views the gap as evidence that those assets have already undergone a substantial adjustment, though he acknowledged that prices could fall further.
Burniske also described a way to compare long-term positions across networks: measure each holding as a share of that network’s token supply. He used a hypothetical holding of 10 Ether (ETH) to show why an equivalent share of another network would require a different number of tokens. He distinguished that approach from short-term trading.
To account for further declines, Burniske described allocating cash across several price levels. Some of those levels might never be reached, leaving part of the cash unused. His comments framed that outcome as part of a planned approach rather than a reason to identify one exact entry price.
