QTR Outlines a Conditional Gold Drop to $3,000-$3,500
In a Friday, Oct. 23 opinion piece, QTR’s Fringe Finance says gold could later reach $7,500-$10,000 if a severe selloff prompts aggressive easing.

QTR’s Fringe Finance sketched a two-stage gold scenario in an opinion piece dated Friday, Oct. 23: gold could fall to $3,000-$3,500 per ounce in a severe crash, then potentially climb to $7,500-$10,000 if the Federal Reserve responds with aggressive easing.
The scenario begins with investors selling assets to raise cash. QTR’s Fringe Finance then posits that a policy response could follow. The piece gives no timing for either move and identifies no official Fed forecast or announced policy action supporting the easing scenario.
“The liquidation is the part everyone fears. The response to the liquidation is the part I’m interested in,” QTR’s Fringe Finance wrote.
