AI-Related Stocks Mostly Rise as Crypto-Linked Shares Fall
Applied Optoelectronics rose 6.17%, while Circle fell 6.16%; Bitdeer was the only crypto-linked name in the snapshot to gain.

Applied Optoelectronics led an Oct. 26 U.S. market snapshot, rising 6.17% as most listed AI-related stocks advanced while three of four crypto-linked shares moved lower during the same session.
Broadcom rose 2.26%, Marvell Technology gained 1.69% and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing (TSM) added 1.60%. NVIDIA advanced 1.50%, Micron Technology gained 1.49% and Advanced Micro Devices rose 1.45%, rounding out the seven AI-related names listed in the snapshot.
Crypto-linked stocks were mixed. Circle fell 6.16%, Coinbase declined 2.41% and Strategy lost 1.75%, while Bitdeer gained 4.33%. Applied Optoelectronics had the largest listed AI-related gain, while Circle posted the steepest decline among the crypto-linked shares.
The snapshot came after a separate semiconductor-fund selloff Thursday, when the iShares Semiconductor ETF fell 6.8% and the leveraged SOXL fund dropped 20.5%. The stock figures describe intraday moves on Oct. 26, not closing prices.
