The index reached 11,416.10 during intraday trading Tuesday, and all eight listed semiconductor stocks were higher.
The Philadelphia Semiconductor Index advanced 3% Tuesday to 11,416.10 intraday, while Advanced Micro Devices led a broad move higher among the eight semiconductor stocks in the snapshot.
Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) rose 5.43%. Broadcom gained 3.89%, Intel added 3.56% and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC) climbed 3.03%. ASML rose 3%, Micron gained 2.76%, Nvidia advanced 1.20% and Qualcomm added 1.09%.
