The Modern Investor set an XRP target of $25 in an Oct. 27 post, above the $8.95 figure in a previous outlook and a new point of debate among commenters.

The post stated, “XRP is going to $25,” but gave no date for reaching that level. The earlier outlook included an $8.95 XRP target alongside forecasts for other crypto assets.

Some replies challenged the $25 target. @textiledexile argued that Ripple’s XRP holdings would make the company the world’s largest if XRP reached $25, then added, “I doubt that’s happening.” Another commenter, @ThisReallySean, wrote, “He means $2,500.”

Other comments offered different views. @greatescapex95 called XRP “an expensive gas token.” @SklofSklin8787 wrote, “Xrp will go to $.25 before $25.”

@CJ, posting as @Expensewino75, wrote, “You cant move trillions and quadrillions at $25,” arguing that the target was not enough for those transaction volumes.
