DeFi researcher Ignas described potential crypto buying as limited, citing fewer dip-buying posts on social media and net negative ETF flows over the past 30 days.

Some market participants, he said, viewed Bitcoin (BTC) holding between $77,000 and $80,000 as bullish. Others preferred to wait for an upswing to be confirmed before buying rather than act during the decline.

Ignas said traders may already hold substantial token positions, leaving fewer potential buyers. He also said volatility in AI stocks, gold and quantum computing was affecting retail investors who had previously favored crypto.

On individual tokens, Ignas described HYPE's price action as independent of Bitcoin and grouped HYPE with revenue-linked assets. He placed Zcash (ZEC) in a conviction-oriented category. TokenPost previously covered an Ignas roundup that named three token groups as Bitcoin (BTC) outperformers.
