查鲁·查纳纳, chief investment strategist at 盛宝金融, said Friday that an overnight Wall Street selloff does not yet show U.S. stocks have entered a bear market.

She said steep declines can reflect investor fear, forced liquidations and deteriorating sentiment. Selling has spread across broader markets, but she described the current pressure as concentrated in the artificial intelligence investment cycle, regulatory uncertainty and concentrated positioning.
