Tom Lee, Head of Research at Fundstrat, has reignited crypto market excitement with a bold Bitcoin prediction, sharing that BTC is entering what he calls the “banana zone.” This ultra-bullish phase, highlighted in a recent X post, follows a chart from Julien Bittel, Global Macro Investor’s Head of Macro Research. The infographic outlines four Bitcoin cycles since 2011, each showing two corrections followed by massive surges. According to Bittel, the current cycle, which began in 2022, is in its first correction phase, suggesting substantial upside potential. Lee echoed this sentiment, stating, “Bitcoin is the way.”

Earlier this year, Lee told CNBC he expects Bitcoin to hit $150,000 after a typical correction to $50K-$60K. His forecast gained traction after BTC reached a new all-time high of $111,970 on May 22, following a temporary U.S.-China trade truce. Lee believes institutional sell-offs were the main cause of the recent dip to $78,000, leaving room for significant upward movement. He sees Bitcoin eventually rivaling gold as a store of value.

Meanwhile, Bitcoin advocate Michael Saylor shared a photo with Gemini founders Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss at Bitcoin 2025, receiving a Gemini Bitcoin Credit Card. Saylor’s caption, “Bitcoin is money. Everything else is credit,” reinforces his belief in BTC as the ultimate financial asset. Tyler Winklevoss hinted at the magnitude of Saylor’s holdings, calling the card “whale limit.”

With bullish sentiment growing among top analysts and influencers, Bitcoin appears poised for another parabolic move. If Lee’s projection holds, the flagship cryptocurrency could be on track for unprecedented price levels, driving renewed interest from both retail and institutional investors. As BTC edges closer to the next leg of its cycle, the “banana zone” may be more than just a meme—it could mark the path to $150K.
