A Bitcoin wallet reportedly linked to Elon Musk’s SpaceX just transferred over $150 million worth of BTC, marking its first on-chain activity in more than three years. According to blockchain analytics firm Arkham, the transaction involved 1,308 BTC sent from an address labeled as belonging to SpaceX (15oKQ7...i7Jf1G) to a previously inactive wallet (bc1q8k...phartf).

This is the first outbound transfer recorded from the wallet since June 10, 2022, when it moved 3,505 BTC—then valued at $102 million—to Coinbase. The new receiving address is currently unlabeled and shows no signs of further activity.

Despite the large transfer, SpaceX continues to hold 6,977 BTC, now worth approximately $815 million, according to Arkham data. This positions the company as one of the largest corporate holders of Bitcoin, trailing only behind giants like MicroStrategy (MSTR) and Tesla (TSLA), another firm owned by Elon Musk.

It remains unclear whether the transaction indicates a potential sale, internal treasury reshuffle, or another strategic move. The lack of subsequent movement from the receiving wallet suggests the BTC remains in cold storage or is awaiting further instructions.

The renewed activity from a dormant SpaceX wallet comes amid a broader resurgence of institutional interest in Bitcoin, driven by rising prices and growing adoption of crypto assets. As of now, there has been no official comment from SpaceX or Elon Musk regarding the purpose of the transfer.

The transaction has caught the attention of crypto watchers and analysts, reigniting speculation around Musk’s crypto holdings and the role of digital assets in his companies’ financial strategies.
