HBAR Price Eyes 40% Breakout Rally Amid Whale Accumulation

Hedera’s HBAR token trades around $0.236 as of September 11, marking a 10.6% weekly gain. While still down 3.7% over the month, HBAR has surged 53% in the past three months, keeping bullish momentum intact.

Whale activity has strengthened confidence in higher prices. Between September 6 and 11, the number of wallets holding more than 10 million HBAR rose from 117.76 to 119.54. Meanwhile, addresses with 100 million+ tokens climbed from 34.06 to 35.16. Together, whales accumulated at least 128 million HBAR—worth over $30 million—within days, a strong signal of institutional confidence.

This whale buying coincided with a critical Relative Strength Index (RSI) setup. Since July, HBAR’s price formed higher lows while RSI posted lower lows, creating a hidden bullish divergence. On September 4–5, RSI finally turned upward as prices bounced, confirming renewed momentum and sparking heavy whale accumulation.

The price now tests the upper boundary of a falling wedge pattern—a formation that typically resolves with a breakout higher. A daily close above $0.238 would confirm bullish control. If sustained, immediate resistance lies at $0.246, followed by $0.268 and $0.304. Clearing these levels could open the path toward the wedge’s target near $0.344, signaling a potential 40% rally from breakout levels.

However, failure to hold support could weaken this outlook. A dip below $0.232 would undermine near-term strength, while a deeper slide under $0.210 would invalidate the wedge structure, shifting sentiment back to caution.

With whales accumulating and technical signals aligning, HBAR stands at a pivotal point. A confirmed breakout could ignite one of its strongest rallies in months, making the coming sessions critical for traders and investors watching Hedera’s price action.
