A Bitcoin whale who purchased 1,102 BTC eight months ago at a price of $117,770 per coin has reportedly transferred the entire holdings to Binance, one of the world's largest cryptocurrency exchanges. The whale originally acquired the Bitcoin in July 2025, riding optimism fueled by a four-month price rally that ran from April through June of that year. At the time of purchase, Bitcoin was trading above $100,000, and market sentiment pointed toward continued upward momentum. However, the anticipated price surge did not materialize as expected, leaving the whale holding a depreciating position over several months.

Interestingly, the whale had the opportunity to exit at a profit. Bitcoin climbed to a new all-time high above $126,000 in October 2025, a level that would have yielded significant returns on the original investment.
