UFO-themed Solana meme coins surged after the Pentagon published its first declassified UAP documents on Friday, igniting speculation across the crypto market. Several meme tokens tied to alien and UFO narratives posted strong gains as traders rushed into the trending sector.

The Department of War officially launched the Presidential Unsealing and Reporting System for UAP Encounters (PURSUE), unveiling Release 01 through a new public portal on WAR.GOV/UFO. Authorities confirmed that additional document releases will continue in phases over the coming weeks, fueling ongoing excitement around UFO-related crypto assets.

Among the biggest winners was UFOPEPE (UFO), a Solana-based meme coin combining Pepe-themed branding with UFO imagery. The token jumped roughly 44.68% following the announcement. Another project called UFO Token gained 30.79%, while UFO Gaming recorded a more modest increase of nearly 6%.

Despite the bullish momentum, market performance remained inconsistent across similarly named tokens. The original UFO Token later dropped close to 5%, highlighting the high-risk nature of speculative meme coin trading and the confusion caused by multiple assets sharing similar branding.

Solana continues to dominate low-cap meme coin trading activity thanks to growing momentum on launchpads such as Pump.fun. Retail participation and viral narratives have pushed decentralized exchange volume to record levels in 2026.

However, analysts continue to warn about extreme volatility in the meme coin sector. Reports suggest automated trading bots now account for between 60% and 80% of volume on some Solana meme coin platforms, creating distorted price movements and rapid trend reversals.

Most UFO meme coins have no direct connection to the Pentagon’s UAP disclosures. Instead, prices are largely driven by social media hype and short-term speculative trading. Traders are also watching future Pentagon file releases closely, as each new document drop could trigger additional meme coin rallies across the Solana ecosystem.
