Cathie Wood’s ARK Invest increased its exposure to crypto-focused investments on Friday by adding shares of BitMine Immersion Technologies (BMNR) and the 3iQ Solana Staking ETF (SOLQ.U) across several of its exchange-traded funds (ETFs).

According to the latest trading disclosures, ARK Innovation ETF (ARKK) acquired 5,264 shares of BitMine Immersion Technologies. Based on Friday’s closing price of $15.79, the purchase was valued at roughly $83,100 and represented approximately 0.0014% of ARKK’s total portfolio.

The BitMine purchase came as part of a broader portfolio rebalance that also included increasing exposure to X-Energy while trimming holdings in design software company Figma. Although the BMNR investment is relatively small, it further strengthens ARK Invest’s presence in the digital asset sector.

ARK also expanded its position in the 3iQ Solana Staking ETF through two of its funds. The ARK Next Generation Internet ETF (ARKW) purchased 16,917 shares, while the ARK Fintech Innovation ETF (ARKF) added another 11,101 shares.

At Friday’s closing price, the ARKW purchase was worth approximately $101,700, while the ARKF acquisition totaled about $66,700. Combined, the two funds acquired 28,018 shares valued at nearly $168,400.

The purchases came despite the Solana-focused investment product declining 2.12% on Friday, ending the trading session at $6.01 per share.

The latest transactions follow an active week for Cathie Wood’s investment firm, which took advantage of broader market weakness to increase positions in several high-growth companies. On Thursday alone, ARK Invest deployed nearly $60 million into Tesla, Circle Internet Group, and Securitize Corp., with Tesla accounting for more than $51 million of those purchases.

Earlier in the week, the firm also invested roughly $14 million in SpaceX shares.

Friday’s filings further showed ARK continuing to rebalance its portfolios by reducing positions in Figma, Strata Critical Medical, ATAI Life Sciences, and Elbit Systems, while adding stakes in X-Energy, Pony AI, Kodiak AI, Scribe Therapeutics, and Compass Pathways alongside its latest crypto-related investments.
