Cardano (ADA) continues to recover from months of heavy selling pressure, but the cryptocurrency has yet to confirm a full bullish reversal. Trading around $0.168, ADA has stabilized after defending a critical support zone near $0.15, giving investors hope that the worst of the recent decline may be over.
The technical outlook has gradually improved since June. Buyers have successfully formed a series of higher lows, while ADA remains above both its 50-day and 100-day moving averages, currently positioned between $0.165 and $0.166. These indicators, which previously acted as resistance, are now serving as short-term support and helping maintain the recovery.
Despite these positive developments, Cardano still faces a major challenge. The 200-day moving average, located near $0.197, remains the key resistance level separating ADA from a confirmed long-term uptrend. A decisive move above the $0.20 mark would likely strengthen bullish sentiment and attract additional buying momentum.
Price action throughout July has been relatively quiet, with ADA trading within a narrow range instead of posting strong rallies. This type of consolidation often signals that the market is preparing for a larger move, although confirmation is still needed before a breakout can be confirmed.
Momentum indicators are showing modest improvement as well. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) has climbed to around 51, moving slightly above the neutral level. This suggests bearish momentum is fading while leaving room for further upside if trading volume begins to increase.
In the near term, the first resistance sits around $0.18, followed by the more significant barrier near $0.20. On the downside, maintaining support above the 50-day moving average is essential. A break below $0.165 could erase recent gains and increase the risk of a retest of the June lows.
Overall, Cardano is no longer in a steep downtrend, but it has not yet entered a confirmed bullish phase. The improving technical structure and stabilizing momentum point to growing optimism, but ADA must clear its long-term resistance before a stronger recovery can take shape.
