Pi Network price is showing renewed strength as Bitcoin holds above $65,000 and sentiment across the cryptocurrency market improves. PI price climbed 2.80% over the past 24 hours to around $0.0910, outperforming Bitcoin’s modest gain as traders focus on the Protocol 26 upgrade, expanding utility, and potential future exchange listings.
Bitcoin briefly advanced toward $65,400 before consolidating near $65,000 during Saturday trading. Improving risk appetite followed weaker U.S. employment data. While Bitcoin gained roughly 0.21% and the broader crypto market capitalization increased about 0.46%, PI delivered stronger daily performance.
Trading activity remains a potential concern. Pi Network trading volume declined 17.59% to approximately $9.42 million, suggesting stronger participation may be necessary to sustain the recovery. Meanwhile, U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $98.85 million in net inflows on August 7, extending their positive streak to five consecutive trading days.
Attention is also turning to Pi Network Protocol 26, with mainnet validators facing an August 11 deadline for network transition preparations. The upgrade is designed to strengthen contract security, state management, interoperability, and cryptographic capabilities, potentially creating better infrastructure for future Pi ecosystem applications.
PI sentiment has received another boost from RoboPay-related utility developments. Reports indicate Pi could be used to pay for robotic services across the Fabric network, expanding discussion around real-world PI coin use cases. However, traders may seek further confirmation and evidence of adoption.
Exchange listing speculation also remains active. PI is available on platforms including OKX, Kraken, Gate, and MEXC but has yet to secure listings on Binance or Coinbase. A Binance community vote in February 2025 showed 86.8% support for adding PI, although no listing followed.
Technically, PI recently reached about $0.0914 after rebounding from $0.090 support. The RSI stands near 60.80, while the four-hour MACD maintains a mildly bullish setup. Holding above $0.090 could allow Pi Network price to challenge $0.095 and potentially $0.10. A successful $0.10 breakout may expose $0.110 and $0.120, while losing $0.090 could put the $0.085 support level back in focus.
