Zcash (ZEC) continues to display a stronger technical setup despite its recent period of price consolidation. ZEC is trading near $505 and remains above several important moving averages on the daily chart, keeping the broader Zcash price outlook constructive.
The nearest dynamic support sits around $497, while additional moving-average support is positioned near $481 and $469. More importantly, ZEC’s longer-term moving average around $421 continues to trend higher. This rising support suggests that the medium-term ZEC price structure remains favorable as long as buyers can defend the crucial $469-$481 zone.
Momentum indicators also leave room for another significant move. Zcash’s Relative Strength Index (RSI) is currently around 52.6, slightly above its signal line near 49.5. With the RSI sitting close to neutral territory, ZEC is neither significantly overbought nor oversold. That gives the cryptocurrency flexibility to move higher without immediately facing concerns about excessive bullish momentum.
The main obstacle for ZEC bulls is the resistance zone between $510 and $520. Recent daily candles suggest sellers remain active around this region, preventing Zcash from establishing a convincing breakout. A sustained move above $520 could provide the confirmation buyers are waiting for and potentially restart stronger upward momentum.
If ZEC successfully clears this resistance, the next potential target area sits between $540 and $560. This zone previously attracted selling pressure during the July rally, making it an important level to watch. Beyond that, approximately $580 represents another notable resistance level for the Zcash price.
On the downside, $497 remains the first key support. Losing this level could weaken ZEC’s immediate bullish setup and increase the risk of a deeper pullback. A decisive decline below $469 would be more concerning because it could undermine the cryptocurrency’s current medium-term bullish structure.
For now, ZEC remains technically stronger than XRP, supported by rising long-term averages and neutral momentum. However, the next major directional signal will likely depend on whether Zcash can decisively break above the $510-$520 resistance zone.
