XRP is trading dangerously close to the psychologically important $1 level as bearish pressure continues to dominate its price structure. With XRP hovering around $1.03, buyers have so far failed to produce a convincing reversal, putting the key support zone firmly in focus.
The XRP price outlook remains bearish based on its moving averages. On the daily chart, XRP is trading below all major moving averages, reinforcing the broader downward trend. The short-term moving average sits near $1.06, while the 50-day moving average is around $1.08. Meanwhile, the 100-day moving average at approximately $1.18 represents a more substantial resistance level, with the 200-day average significantly higher at roughly $1.37.
More importantly, these moving averages are all trending downward. This suggests XRP is not simply dealing with isolated resistance points. Instead, the cryptocurrency remains locked in an established downtrend where recovery attempts repeatedly encounter lower resistance levels.
Momentum indicators also offer little encouragement for XRP bulls. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) has declined to approximately 36.8. Although this brings XRP closer to oversold territory, the indicator has not yet reached levels that would strongly suggest selling exhaustion. Consequently, XRP could still experience additional downside pressure before buyers attempt a meaningful recovery.
The $1 support level is therefore becoming increasingly important. A confirmed daily close below $1 could intensify XRP selling pressure, particularly if the breakdown occurs alongside increasing trading volume. Losing this psychological support could also open the door to a deeper price correction.
For XRP to begin stabilizing, bulls would first need to reclaim the $1.06-$1.08 range. A sustained move above this area could provide an early sign that bearish momentum is weakening. Until that happens, however, short-term XRP rallies are more likely to represent countertrend rebounds than the beginning of a broader bullish reversal.
For now, the $1 XRP price level remains the critical dividing line between continued consolidation and another potentially significant bearish breakdown.
