Bitmine Immersion Technologies has expanded its Ethereum treasury once again, lifting its total holdings to 5.815 million ETH as the company continues its aggressive cryptocurrency accumulation strategy.
In an announcement Monday, Bitmine said it purchased an additional 9,926 ETH during the past week. The acquisition extends a streak of weekly Ethereum purchases that began in June 2025, when the company launched its ETH-focused treasury strategy.
Led by Chairman Tom Lee and publicly traded under the ticker BMNR, Bitmine now controls approximately 4.8% of Ethereum’s total supply. At the current ETH price of roughly $1,904, the company’s Ethereum holdings are valued at about $11 billion.
Lee pointed to recent strength in the ETH/BTC ratio as a potentially important development for Ethereum. According to the Bitmine chairman, the ratio has moved above a multi-year downward trend, suggesting that investors may be increasingly factoring in future Ethereum demand.
He expects two major technology trends—asset tokenization and AI-agent applications—to help drive greater use of the Ethereum network. Ethereum remains one of the leading blockchain platforms for tokenized assets, smart contracts and decentralized applications.
Macroeconomic conditions could also provide additional support for digital assets. Lee said he expects “easing financial conditions to be a tailwind for crypto,” potentially creating a more favorable environment for Ethereum and the broader cryptocurrency market.
ETH has gained approximately 1.6% over the past 24 hours, while Bitmine shares are trading more than 2% higher.
Alongside its Ethereum purchases, Bitmine has continued buying back its own shares. The company acquired another 1.7 million BMNR shares last week, increasing its total repurchased holdings to 20.8 million shares.
Those stock purchases are being conducted under Bitmine’s previously authorized $4 billion share buyback program, adding another component to the company’s broader capital allocation strategy as it builds one of the largest corporate Ethereum treasuries.
