Pi Network price is approaching the key $0.10 level as a broad cryptocurrency market rally boosts demand for major digital assets and altcoins. Pi Coin rose about 4% over the past 24 hours to $0.0939, extending its recent recovery.
The wider crypto market climbed 6.09% in the same period, pushing its total market capitalization to approximately $2.57 trillion. Bitcoin surged to a 14-week high of $79,500 after rebounding by $17,200 from $62,300. The rally added roughly $412 billion to the cryptocurrency market and triggered about $4.3 billion in short liquidations.
Other major cryptocurrencies also recorded strong gains. Ethereum moved above $2,300 as traders increasingly focused on a potential advance toward $3,000, while XRP jumped 16% to $1.41. Solana gained around 5% from the $91 level, with Dogecoin and other altcoins also benefiting from improving market sentiment.
Optimism strengthened further after U.S. President Donald Trump urged Congress to advance the long-delayed CLARITY Act, which seeks to establish clearer rules for the digital asset industry.
Pi Network also received a technical catalyst after Protocol 27 went live on Testnet 1. Pi Blockexplorer data shows the latest protocol version is now being tested, bringing the project closer to a potential Mainnet upgrade. Community reports describe Protocol 27 as the final planned upgrade on the project's current technical roadmap.
The upgrade is expected to support infrastructure improvements involving RPC servers, decentralized exchange functionality and automated market maker liquidity pools. Testnet participation has reportedly exceeded 200,000 nodes. Testnet 2 is expected to follow, although no official date for a Protocol 27 Mainnet deployment has been announced.
Pi Coin recently traded near $0.09506 after gaining 5% in four hours. Its four-hour Relative Strength Index stood at 77.67, signaling strong but overbought momentum, while Chaikin Money Flow remained positive at 0.16.
A sustained break above $0.095 could strengthen the case for Pi Network price reaching $0.10. However, failure to hold momentum could send PI back toward $0.09, with additional support around $0.085 and $0.08.
