Chainlink (LINK) climbed to $13.64 on September 7, reaching its highest level since January 18, 2026, as growing network adoption and rising derivatives activity strengthened bullish sentiment. LINK has now gained roughly 94% between June 22 and September 7.
The rally comes alongside expanding Chainlink usage. Analyst Chris Barret said the network has facilitated approximately $34 trillion in transactions. DeFiLlama data also shows Chainlink’s total value secured (TVS) increased from $33.98 billion on August 7 to $40.02 billion, representing growth of $6.04 billion in one month.
Chainlink has also expanded its institutional footprint, including a partnership with the U.S. Commerce Department to bring economic data such as inflation, GDP and sales figures onchain. Despite its recent recovery, LINK remains about 74% below its May 2021 all-time high of $52.88.
Derivatives activity is adding momentum. CoinGlass data shows Chainlink open interest reached $784 million, its highest level since October 2025, while derivatives trading volume climbed to approximately $1.04 billion. However, selling pressure remains a potential risk, with one large address reportedly transferring 2.41 million LINK, worth around $26.04 million, to Coinbase over three weeks.
ETF demand has been less impressive. LINK ETFs recorded no inflows between August 31 and September 4, compared with $986 million for Bitcoin ETFs and $218 million for Ethereum ETFs. Still, Chainlink ETFs attracted $18.27 million in August, their strongest monthly inflow since December 2025.
Technical indicators suggest the Chainlink price rally could continue. LINK has formed a double-bottom pattern on the weekly chart and broken above its $10.72 neckline. A measured move from the pattern could push LINK toward $15.83.
The token has also moved above its 200-week EMA near $12.85, while an RSI reading of 65 indicates positive momentum. Analyst Axel sees a potential rally toward $22 if LINK secures a weekly close above $13.50. Conversely, a drop below the 200-week EMA could expose the $10 psychological support level.
