XRP price climbed 3.51% over the past 24 hours to $1.43 as stronger institutional interest, rising XRP Ledger activity and whale accumulation supported the cryptocurrency’s latest rally.
The gains came alongside a broader crypto market recovery, with total market capitalization rising 1.5% to $2.79 trillion. Bitcoin traded near $81,000, while Ethereum approached $2,600, improving sentiment across major digital assets.
On-chain data also showed increased XRP Ledger usage. XRPScan recorded 2,344,225 transactions over the latest 24-hour period, an 8.9% daily increase. Sustained transaction growth could strengthen the case for expanding network adoption, although activity would need to remain elevated over a longer period.
Large XRP holders have also attracted attention. Whales accumulated roughly 1.54 billion XRP within 96 hours, valued at about $2.2 billion. However, exchange data presented a more mixed picture, with whale inflows to Binance reaching 1.6 billion XRP over 30 days, the highest since March 2026. Higher exchange deposits can indicate preparations for trading or potential selling.
Derivatives activity added to the bullish momentum. XRP derivatives volume increased 2.73% to $5.13 billion, while open interest jumped 8.12% to $3.24 billion. Rising open interest suggests traders are building futures positions, potentially increasing both upside momentum and volatility.
XRP’s technical setup now puts the $1.45 resistance level in focus. A sustained breakout above that area could open a path toward $1.50, followed by $1.60 if buying pressure continues.
The four-hour relative strength index stands near 65, below the 70 level commonly associated with overbought conditions. Chaikin Money Flow is also positive at 0.18, indicating continued capital inflows.
If XRP fails to clear $1.45, the price could retreat toward $1.40, with additional support around $1.36. Traders are watching whale activity, XRP Ledger transactions and derivatives positioning for clues on whether the latest rally can continue.
