Solana Weekly DEX Trades Surpass NYSE Count in Sept. 13 Comparison
Solana logged about 208 million spot decentralized-exchange trades for the week, versus roughly 190 million NYSE trades, but the comparison excludes dollar volume.

Solana recorded about 208 million spot decentralized-exchange trades in the week ended Sept. 13, exceeding the roughly 190 million trades counted on the New York Stock Exchange in the same comparison.
The figures measure transaction counts rather than the dollar value of assets traded. They do not show that Solana handled more capital, liquidity or exchange revenue than the NYSE.
Solana’s spot DEX activity generated approximately $2.67 billion in volume during the week. SOL-stablecoin pairs accounted for about $1.20 billion, or 44.8%, while memecoin pairs represented roughly $726.7 million, or 27.2%.
Pump.fun led the period by trade count with 14,303,122 transactions. Jupiter processed more than 80 million trades in September, a 38% increase from the previous month.
The activity may support the case for stronger Solana network usage in the fourth quarter. It does not establish that the milestone will drive demand for Solana (SOL) or become a price catalyst.
Trade counts can be lifted by smaller, frequent swaps, making them an imperfect measure of market depth or broader economic activity. Solana DEX trades are on-chain token swaps executed across decentralized exchanges built on the network.
The comparison was made public Sept. 22 at about 1:35 p.m. ET (17:35 UTC).
