Binance Schedules 24/7 USD/BRL Perpetual Contract on Futures
The USDT-settled contract tracks the dollar against the Brazilian real, with leverage of up to 100x and pricing methods for closed FX markets.

Binance Futures scheduled a USDT-settled perpetual contract tied to the U.S. dollar and Brazilian real, bringing synthetic foreign-exchange exposure to a crypto derivatives platform with round-the-clock trading.
The USDBRLUSDT contract was set for launch Sept. 21 at 10 a.m. ET (14:00 UTC). It is designed to remain available on weekends and public holidays, with maximum leverage of 100x. The minimum trade size is 0.01 USDBRL, while the minimum notional value is 5 USDT.
Funding payments are settled every eight hours, with a cap ranging from plus 0.375% to minus 0.375%. During regular foreign-exchange market hours, Binance uses a weighted price index updated every second. When those markets are closed, including weekends and public holidays, the contract uses an order-book exponential weighted moving average.
The product tracks the exchange rate for $1 in Brazilian real but does not deliver physical dollars or reais. It is a perpetual futures contract with no stated expiration date, and availability may vary by jurisdiction. Contract terms may also change with market conditions.
