Bitcoin Miners Send 19,866 BTC to Binance in Largest Reported Inflow Since Aug. 25
Bitcoin was trading around $85,400, while the transfer indicated potential sell-side availability without confirming that miners had sold the coins.

Bitcoin (BTC) miners transferred 19,866 BTC to Binance on Sept. 21, creating potential sell-side supply while the cryptocurrency was trading around $85,400.
The transfer was the largest reported miner-to-Binance inflow since Aug. 25, when more than 25,000 BTC moved to exchanges. Bitcoin’s price did not show an immediate sharp decline after the latest movement.
The “Miner to Exchange” measure tracks Bitcoin sent from mining-pool wallets to exchange wallets. Such transfers can place coins in venues where they may be sold, but the movement alone does not establish that a sale took place.
The Sept. 21 transfer also does not identify why the Bitcoin moved. Possible uses for exchange transfers include covering operating expenses, taxes, infrastructure costs or equipment upgrades.
The 19,866 BTC figure describes the reported transfer itself and should not be treated as confirmed liquidation. The available information also does not establish whether the movement will have a lasting effect on Bitcoin’s market structure or price.
