Crypto Traders Face $400 Million In Liquidations Over 24 Hours
Long positions accounted for $297 million of the total, while Bitcoin and Ether recorded the largest asset-level losses.

Crypto derivatives traders saw $400 million in forced liquidations over a 24-hour period, with long positions accounting for nearly three-quarters of the total as Bitcoin and Ether led asset-level losses.
Long liquidations totaled $297 million, while short positions accounted for $103 million. The imbalance shows that traders betting on higher prices absorbed most of the forced closures during the period.
Bitcoin (BTC) recorded $136 million in liquidations, the largest total among individual assets. Ether (ETH) followed with $82.8 million. The biggest single liquidation was an $11.49 million Ether position traded against USDT on Binance.
