Loracle Closes 20-Times Leveraged Gold Long After $1.25M Loss
The trader still holds short positions in altcoins, U.S. stocks and HYPE with combined unrealized losses of about $9.66 million.

Loracle closed its 20-times leveraged gold long after losing about $1.2535 million, leaving the trader with short positions across altcoins, U.S. stocks and HYPE that carry combined unrealized losses of about $9.66 million.
The remaining positions include shorts in ENA, NEAR and CASHCAT, along with short positions in SanDisk, Nvidia and Micron shares. Their combined value is about $79.385 million, with unrealized losses of roughly $6.765 million and a return of about -45%.
The gold trade had been part of Loracle’s broader leveraged portfolio, which also included a 20-times leveraged gold long. That position has now been fully closed.
A separate Loracle address holds a three-times leveraged short position of 104,699.13 HYPE tokens valued at about $9.669 million. The position shows an unrealized loss of approximately $2.895 million, representing a return of about -89%.
Gold briefly fell below $4,270 an ounce before rebounding to $4,290.
