Crypto traders faced $33.92 million in liquidations across Binance, Bybit and OKX in the hour before 7:17 a.m. ET (11:17 UTC) Sept. 25, with short positions accounting for 98% of the total.
Short liquidations reached $33.37 million, compared with $550,000 in long liquidations, across 4,290 liquidation events. The figures combine publicly available liquidation data from Binance, Bybit and OKX and do not represent the entire market.
Binance recorded $21.17 million in liquidations during the period, followed by OKX at $9.17 million and Bybit at $3.58 million.
Ether (ETH) led the assets by liquidation value at $9.76 million. Solana followed with $8.12 million, while Bitcoin (BTC) recorded $6.22 million.
