XRP recorded 1,917 transactions worth at least $100,000 on Sept. 22, marking roughly a one-month high in high-value activity as the token advanced above $1.60.

The transaction count measures large transfers, but it does not establish whether the activity involved purchases, sales, exchange movements or transfers between wallets controlled by the same entity.

XRP traded between $1.49 and $1.61 on Sept. 22 before closing at $1.57. The token reached an intraday high of $1.66 on Sept. 23 and closed that session at $1.50.

The rally also coincided with the creation of 3,647 new XRP wallets. New addresses do not necessarily represent new investors or individuals, so the figure does not establish an equivalent increase in the number of market participants.

U.S. spot XRP exchange-traded funds recorded $20.02 million in net inflows on Sept. 22. Bitwise’s XRP ETF received $19.16 million, while Franklin Templeton’s XRP ETF (XRPZ) recorded about $0.86 million.

The inflow followed earlier coverage of Bitwise’s Sept. 22 ETF activity. The daily figures show the net change in ETF shares after redemptions, but they do not reveal who bought the shares or whether the funds immediately entered the spot XRP market.

The transaction activity, new-wallet creation and ETF flows provide separate measures of activity around XRP’s price move. None of those figures, on their own, establishes that large holders were accumulating XRP or that whale transactions caused the advance.
