Cardano’s ADA 50-Day Average Remains Below Its 200-Day Measure
ADA’s 50-day moving average remained below its 200-day measure in Sept. 24 figures, despite a separate “on the verge” assessment.

Cardano (ADA) is being monitored for a possible first major golden cross of 2026, but available figures do not confirm that the technical signal is imminent or has formed.
A golden cross occurs when a shorter-term moving average, commonly the 50-day measure, rises above a longer-term average, commonly the 200-day measure. The pattern is widely treated as a bullish technical indicator, but it does not guarantee higher prices.
A Sept. 24 end-of-day snapshot placed ADA’s 50-day simple moving average at $0.2070, below its 200-day average at $0.2141. Another set of figures listed the averages at $0.206 and $0.214, also leaving the shorter-term measure below the longer-term one.
The discrepancy is between the reported “on the verge” framing and the average levels themselves, creating a conflict in the underlying data or methodology. The available figures do not establish that a golden cross has occurred or is about to occur.
ADA closed at $0.196165 on Sept. 16 and $0.247590 on Sept. 24. Trading volume on Sept. 24 was $760,532,890. A separate Sept. 24 snapshot listed ADA at $0.2476, up 22.21% over seven days.
The $0.24-$0.25 area has been identified as a resistance or confirmation zone, while the moving-average cluster near $0.21 has been described as support. These levels frame the areas traders may watch when assessing whether the averages move closer together or separate further.
Possible technical paths include a continued move higher, a failed breakout that takes ADA back below the moving averages, or a golden cross followed by sideways trading. Potential levels mentioned in those scenarios include $0.28 and $0.30, with $0.42 reserved for a stronger buying scenario. Those figures are hypothetical technical levels, not established outcomes.
ADA’s previous golden cross was identified as occurring in August 2025, when the token briefly reached $0.92. The token later formed lower highs between $0.83 and $0.92 before a daily death cross in November 2025. A weekly death cross was completed in May 2026.
