Zcash (ZEC) fell 2.14% in one hour to $1,559 at 11:22 a.m. ET on Sept. 25 (15:22 UTC), marking a sharp intraday pullback despite a 3.66% gain over the previous 24 hours.
ZEC was trading at $1,593 one hour earlier on Binance’s spot ZEC/USDT market. The one-hour decline was calculated from exchange prices collected directly by TokenPost.
Long liquidations totaled $740,000 across Binance, Bybit and OKX during the same hour, compared with $20,000 in short liquidations. Liquidations occur when leveraged positions are forcibly closed after traders fail to meet margin requirements.
Zcash ranked ninth by market capitalization at approximately $26.91564 billion at the time of measurement.
