Short positions totaled $5.01 billion, or 52.89% of whale exposure. Long positions amounted to $4.46 billion, representing 47.11% of the total.
The imbalance came as long positions posted combined profits of $654 million, while short positions showed combined losses of $705 million.
One whale address, 0x5b5d..60, held a 5x full-margin short on Ether (ETH) at $2,304.06. The position carried an unrealized loss of $40.59 million.
The figures show current whale positions on Hyperliquid. They follow an earlier Hyperliquid whale-position report that showed $9.074 billion in open positions and a 0.91 long-to-short ratio.
