Bitcoin Rebound Near $84,000 Triggers Nearly $500 Million in Losses
Bitcoin holders who had held for more than nine months recorded about $246 million in realized losses, while those holding for more than one year recorded about $233 million.

Bitcoin (BTC) recovered to about $84,000 as some investors who bought at higher prices sold during the rebound, recording nearly $500 million in realized losses across two holder groups.
Holders who had kept Bitcoin for more than nine months recorded about $246 million in losses. Those who had held the asset for more than one year recorded about $233 million.
The more-than-nine-month holder group had previously recorded realized losses exceeding $300 million on two occasions. Darkfost said the process of higher-price buyers accepting losses and coins moving to investors with stronger conviction remains underway.
