Hyperliquid Assistance Fund Buys Back and Burns 47.5 Million HYPE
The fund spent about $1.321 billion to acquire the tokens, which were valued at roughly $4.366 billion as of Sept. 26.
The Hyperliquid Assistance Fund has bought back and permanently burned more than 47.5058 million Hyperliquid (HYPE) tokens as of Sept. 26, removing a substantial amount of the asset from circulation.
The tokens had a cumulative acquisition cost of about $1.321 billion. Their value was approximately $4.366 billion at the time of the update.
The latest total adds to Hyperliquid’s ongoing burn activity. Earlier Hyperliquid burn coverage detailed the permanent removal of HYPE from its maximum supply.
