The price calculation used Binance’s spot ZEC/USDT market and TokenPost’s direct collection of public exchange prices. Zcash ranked ninth by market capitalization at approximately $28.23672 billion.
Short liquidations totaled $7.77 million during the hour across Binance, Bybit and OKX, while long liquidations reached $20,000. Liquidations occur when exchanges forcibly close leveraged positions after traders can no longer meet margin requirements.
