USD Coin (USDC) Circulation Rises to 75.2 Billion in One Week
About 11.4 billion USDC were issued and 9.9 billion redeemed during the week ended Sept. 24. Reserve assets totaled approximately $75.5 billion.
USD Coin (USDC) circulation rose by about 1.5 billion tokens in the week ended Sept. 24, reaching 75.2 billion as issuance exceeded redemptions and reserve assets totaled $75.5 billion.
About 11.4 billion USDC were issued during the period, while roughly 9.9 billion were redeemed. The difference increased USDC circulation by approximately 1.5 billion tokens.
The latest figure marks an increase from the 74.6 billion USDC circulation recorded in the previous seven-day period, when reserves totaled about $74.8 billion.
A combined 500 million USDC was minted on Solana in two transactions on Sept. 25, after the period covered by the latest circulation figures.
