Peter Brandt Says XRP’s Charts Justify Considering a Bet

Brandt’s Sept. 27 post included a long-term XRP chart but did not confirm a position or set a timetable for a move.

Trader Peter Brandt said XRP (XRP) charts alone justify considering a bet, while distancing himself from what he described as extreme loyalty among some supporters.

“It is not necessary to be a certified cult member to be an interested owner of a crypto $XRP,” Brandt wrote in a Sept. 27 post.

“The charts alone have always been enough reason for us to make a bet,” he added. Brandt also wrote that there is “a difference between being open minded and having a hole in the head.”

The comments focused on technical analysis of XRP’s historical price patterns rather than fundamental valuation, an investment recommendation or a confirmed position. The chart image shared with the post covered more than a decade of XRP price history and was dated Sept. 26, 2026.

Brandt did not say that he had bought or sold XRP, and the post did not provide a timetable for a move. His wording about making a bet also did not establish that a trade had been executed.

In a separate Sept. 21 chart, Brandt indicated an “eventual advance” to $5.40. That chart did not specify when the level might be reached or confirm that he had opened a position.

The latest comments follow Brandt’s earlier XRP analysis. In November 2024, he described an XRP pattern as a “massive coil” while saying he was not long XRP and had no plans to buy it.

TokenPost previously covered Brandt’s long-term Ether chart, which also included a potential price target and a disclaimer that publishing a chart did not mean he had entered a trade.
