Bitcoin Slips Below $84,000 as RWA Sector Gains 4.24%
Bitcoin fell 0.97% and Ether dropped 1.59%, while Ondo Finance and Sky led gains among real-world asset tokens.

Crypto markets moved in opposite directions Sept. 28, with Bitcoin (BTC) falling below $84,000 while the real-world asset sector posted a 4.24% gain over 24 hours.
Bitcoin declined 0.97%, while Ether (ETH) dropped 1.59% and fell below $2,700. The RWA sector was led by Ondo Finance (ONDO), up 6.16%, and Sky (SKY), which gained 4.25%.
Other market segments showed smaller moves. The meme sector rose 0.21%, helped by a 16.14% gain for Pump.fun (PUMP), while the centralized finance sector added 0.16% and NEXO (NEXO) rose 0.34%.
Losses were recorded in several other areas. The Layer 2 sector fell 0.23%, the Layer 1 sector declined 0.25%, DeFi dropped 1.42% and PayFi lost 1.60%. SOON (SOON) rose 31.65%, while Zcash (ZEC) fell 4.60%. SoSoValue (SOSO) gained 9.67% and Telcoin (TEL) rose 9.52% intraday.
