Bitcoin (BTC) long positions totaling $9.97 million were liquidated in the hour ending at 10:02 p.m. ET Sunday (02:02 UTC Monday), as the cryptocurrency’s price fell 0.64% to $83,554.
The total liquidation figure reached $10.06 million during the period. Short positions accounted for $90,000, while long positions made up nearly all of the forced closures.
The figures come from TokenPost’s own aggregation of publicly available liquidation data from Binance, Bybit and OKX. The tally covers those three exchanges and does not represent the entire market.
Bitcoin traded at $84,090 at the start of the measured hour before declining to $83,554 by 10:02 p.m. ET Sunday (02:02 UTC Monday).
