Spot Silver Falls Below $62 as Intraday Loss Reaches 3.6%
The move marked silver’s first drop below $62 since Aug. 7, bringing the metal back toward its recent lower trading range.

Spot silver fell below $62 an ounce while losing 3.6% during the session, marking its first break below that level since Aug. 7 and signaling a sharp move in a market watched by crypto traders.
The decline pushed silver back toward the lower end of its recent trading range. The metal touched $62.47 in June, fell below $57 in July and declined to $66.49 on Aug. 29.
Silver’s latest decline was smaller than its steepest January moves, when it fell 18.62% and 35.12% on separate occasions. The comparison points to a less severe single-session drop, even as the break below $62 puts a closely watched price level back in focus.
