Bitcoin (BTC) and other crypto assets face a series of US economic releases this week, with labor-market, inflation, growth and manufacturing data scheduled from Tuesday through Friday.

The key releases begin Tuesday, Sept. 29, with August JOLTS job-openings data and September consumer confidence. The job-openings figures will provide another measure of labor demand before the week’s employment report.

Wednesday, Sept. 30, will bring August personal income and outlays, including the personal consumption expenditures price index, the Federal Reserve’s preferred inflation gauge. The Bureau of Economic Analysis is also scheduled to publish the third and final estimate of second-quarter US gross domestic product.

The September Institute for Supply Management manufacturing purchasing managers index is due Thursday, Oct. 1. The August reading showed expansion for an eighth consecutive month at 54.6.

Friday’s employment report is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. ET (12:30 p.m. UTC). The release will include payroll growth, unemployment and wage figures. The previous report was significantly stronger than expected, and Bitcoin and other crypto assets declined immediately after its release.

The employment data will close a week focused on indicators that shape the market’s view of US economic conditions and monetary policy. The next scheduled release in the calendar is the jobs report on Friday.
