Crypto Options Show Cooling Bullish Sentiment Without Panic
Bitcoin puts are slightly more expensive than calls, while Ether’s call premium has narrowed from a week earlier.

Options markets for Bitcoin (BTC) and Ether (ETH) show cooling bullish sentiment after their rally stalled the previous Monday, while pricing indicates traders have not rushed to buy downside protection.
Put options are slightly more expensive than call options for Bitcoin, indicating skew has returned toward puts. Bitcoin’s seven-day skew change week over week ranked at the 92nd percentile of its 52-week range, compared with a median of -4.41v.
Downside protection remains historically cheap despite the shift in skew. The pricing suggests a change in sentiment rather than concentrated buying of put options.
Ether options showed a similar cooling in sentiment. Calls remained more expensive than puts, although that premium narrowed from a week earlier.
Overall, options pricing points to softer bullish sentiment without signs that options traders are panicking.
