Crypto Traders Face $48.84 Million in Liquidations Over One Hour

Crypto traders saw $48.84 million in liquidations during the hour ending Sept. 28 at 10:52 a.m. ET (14:52 UTC), with long positions making up nearly 98% of the total across three major exchanges.
Long liquidations reached $47.70 million, compared with $1.15 million in short liquidations. The figures covered 8,942 liquidation events on Binance, Bybit and OKX.
Binance accounted for $38.11 million of the total. OKX recorded $7.14 million, while Bybit accounted for $3.60 million.
By asset, Ether (ETH) led with $15.00 million in liquidations, followed by Bitcoin (BTC) at $6.34 million and Zcash (ZEC) at $2.96 million. The figures represent TokenPost’s direct collection and aggregation of publicly available liquidation data from the three exchanges, rather than the entire cryptocurrency market.
