Hedera (HBAR) surged 29.8% in 24 hours to break above its February high near $0.107, marking a sharp move after months of weakness and lifting activity across derivatives and spot markets.

Daily trading volume reached $619.5 million, up 718% from the previous day. Open interest, which measures the value of outstanding futures contracts, also climbed more than 80% in 24 hours.

Trading activity accelerated alongside two developments on Sept. 23. The Hashgraph Group’s IDTrust self-sovereign identity platform was validated and listed in the IBM Cloud Catalog, while Hedera joined the United Kingdom’s Wholesale Digital Markets Champion Taskforce.

The latest four-hour trading session produced volume comparable with levels seen during the October 2025 crash. HBAR is now testing a broader resistance area between $0.105 and $0.128, with the $0.118 Fibonacci retracement level also in focus.
