Large Hyperliquid Trader Adds Nearly $12 Million to Crypto Longs, With ETH as Main Focus

A large trader on Hyperliquid added nearly $12 million to leveraged long positions during a market decline on Sept. 28, directing more than 60% of the new capital toward Ether (ETH).
The address bought 2,750 ETH at an average price of about $2,684, for a position worth roughly $7.38 million. It also added 25 Bitcoin (BTC) at an average of $83,689, a purchase of about $2.09 million.
The trader increased its Solana (SOL) position by 20,000 tokens at an average price of about $121.60, spending approximately $2.43 million. The additional SOL raised the position from 30,000 tokens to 50,000 before the entire SOL holding was closed.
The address continues to hold leveraged long positions totaling 325 BTC and 4,250 ETH. The two positions have a combined unrealized loss of about $600,000.
The activity leaves ETH as the largest focus of the trader's latest positioning, despite the broader market pullback.
