Strategy-linked transfers involving 3,568 Bitcoin (BTC) were identified as routine movements within Fidelity Custody rather than asset sales, clarifying the nature of the transactions for markets tracking the company’s holdings.

On-chain researcher Emmett Gallic said the transfers were not sales or a relocation of Strategy’s assets outside custody. The movements took place over nine hours.

Fidelity treats customer-held BTC as fungible assets, allowing funds to move between custody addresses as operational needs arise. The transfers therefore do not indicate that Strategy reduced its Bitcoin position.
