AI Hardware Stocks Rise at Market Open as Micron Gains 2%

SanDisk, Western Digital and SK hynix also advanced, while Corning climbed 2.8% after signing a multiyear fiber-supply agreement with AT&T.

AI hardware and memory stocks rose at the U.S. market open Tuesday, with Micron Technology gaining 2% as Corning advanced after a multiyear fiber-supply agreement with AT&T.

Micron shares were up 2% at 9:36 a.m. ET (13:36 UTC). SanDisk gained 1.8%, Western Digital climbed 2.2% and SK hynix advanced 1.7%.

Corning rose 2.8% after Corning and AT&T signed a multiyear agreement valued at more than $3 billion to supply fiber.
