Crypto traders faced $36.42 million in liquidations during the hour ending at 11:28 a.m. ET (15:28 UTC) on Sept. 29, with long positions making up 96% of the total across three major exchanges.
Long liquidations totaled $35.06 million, while short liquidations reached $1.37 million. The activity involved 5,412 liquidation events across Binance, Bybit and OKX, based on a direct aggregation of their publicly available liquidation data.
Binance accounted for $24.88 million of the total, followed by OKX at $7.14 million and Bybit at $4.40 million. By asset, Bitcoin (BTC) recorded $12.13 million in liquidations, Ether (ETH) had $11.66 million and Zcash (ZEC) reached $2.44 million.
The figures cover only the three exchanges and do not represent total liquidations across the cryptocurrency market.
