GRASS Briefly Tops $0.80, Sets Record After 25% Daily Gain

GRASS briefly climbed above $0.80, setting a record high as the token gained more than 25% over 24 hours before retreating to $0.74.
The move followed Multicoin Capital’s investment in Grass through its hedge fund and venture capital fund. The investment firm has positioned the DePIN project as a data-access layer for machine intelligence.
Grass uses encrypted incentives to recruit users who share unused internet bandwidth. The network uses that bandwidth to query and process publicly available web data, and its systems have entered the data-processing workflows of some advanced AI labs.
The project’s planned expansion includes content and search APIs plus a network index. Those tools are intended to give AI models and agents access to current information from the web.
Multicoin Capital has argued that Grass is still mainly viewed as a provider of pretraining data, while its potential for real-time retrieval during AI inference has received less attention. The planned APIs and index are the next concrete steps in that expansion.
